Marilyn Rasmussen’s CornFeed

Senator Marilyn Rasmussen, who represents the 2nd LD, has been hosting a CornFeed every fall for 23 years and she knows how to throw a party. Darcy attended the event in Eatonville, along with her husband, Mike, and son, Henry. So did at least 100 other folks despite rain clouds that never quite opened up, thank goodness. Marilyn's friends and family cooked the corn, flipped the hamburger patties and served up salads and cake, just as they have for years. Marilyn, whose many grandchildren were also at the event, welcomed the crowd and thanked us all for joining her.
Darcy had a chance to talk with many friends and supporters, inlcuding Nathe Lawver, Chair of the Democratic Party in Pierce County, shown below and Jonathan Harris and Anders Ibsen, in the second photo.
