Volunteer for Darcy on Caucus Day

On February 9th, Democrats will be headed to schools and other public locations for our precinct caucuses. The caucuses are one of the times when we actively exercise our democratic rights and remember the heritage that has made our form of government a beacon for the world.

The most obvious purpose of the caucuses is to select delegates to go on to regional and then state gatherings to eventually vote for one of the presidential candidates at the Democratic convention in Denver in late August. The second purpose of the caucuses is to get an opportunity to meet the other active Democrats and Democratic-leaning Independents in our neighborhoods and to begin to organize at the precinct level.

Darcy and her campaign are asking for volunteers in the 8th Congressional District who will collect the names and contact information of people who would like to volunteer on the campaign. We would like to have at least one person at each area location asking for that information.
